Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great week. It's been a while since I've posted on my blog. I've been busy doing more research for my final project!
Infographic
This week, I created an infographic about the factors of coyotes' stress in urban cities (click here to view my Twitter post where I have the infographic linked). I found the data to create my infographic from the sources that I have linked on my research agenda. Most of my articles are about coyotes' stress, so I pulled different aspects that contribute to their stress from those articles.
I believe this infographic helps viewers analyze the problem because it visually breaks down complex information into easily digestible parts. By presenting the data in a clear and concise manner, it highlights the main stress factors for coyotes in urban environments, such as traffic, increased human interaction, and food litter. This allows viewers to quickly grasp the key issues and understand how various urban elements impact coyote behavior and well-being. Additionally, the infographic can serve as a tool for raising awareness and prompting further discussion on how to mitigate these stressors, ultimately leading to more effective wildlife management and conservation strategies in urban areas.
Multimedia From Twitter
I found several sources and posted them on Twitter regarding urban coyotes! I think the most interesting one was this video about what to do if you ever encountered a coyote. I want to use this in my portfolio by advocating that we do not have to harm coyotes in order to live peacefully with them, and highlighting ways to coexist harmoniously. Sharing educational resources like the video you found can empower others to understand coyote behavior and how to respond appropriately. This approach fosters empathy and promotes non-lethal solutions for managing human-coyote interactions. By advocating for peaceful coexistence, we can cultivate a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with wildlife in our urban environments.
Conclusion
I had a productive week with my urban coyote research, and I look forward to blogging again soon! Don't forget to follow me on Twitter and keep up with my blog! Thanks for reading!
